Barton Remedial Massage Therapy is a small family business based in the beautiful suburb of Narangba, in the Moreton Bay Region of North Brisbane.  Our clinic is situated in close proximity of Narangba Valley Shopping Centre and offer both Remedial Massage Therapy and Dry Needle Therapy in our clinic.

 

I have had many years experience in human movement starting from studying at the University of Waikato in the early 90's, selected into a program for talented young athletes which led to representation in New Zealand and then State and National levels here in Australia. Privileged to be part of professional Rugby Union and Track & Field programs, this has allowed me to be exposed to quality allied health professionals and have a great appreciation of health and well being overall.

 

Remedial massage therapy and dry needle therapy is an important part of promoting the healing and to rejuvenate the body.  If you have pain from a  dysfunction then we can help you. I can help you with all your questions and explain all the different therapies and techniques to assist in choosing the right treatment for you.

 

We provide health care services consistent with and in accordance with the scope of qualifications and training of a Remedial Massage Therapist and Dry Needle Therapy. We consider the health and well-being of our clients and have an understanding of the therapeutic nature of the client and therapists relationship. We treat all our clients with compassion, respect and have an appreciation of the diversity of human background and cultural values including truly listening to and identify the concerns of our client.

 

We are passionate about presenting information accurately and clearly in accordance with good professional practices and will always respect the client’s right to make decisions about their health care. If the dysfunction presented cannot be treated with remedial therapy, we will refer you to other health service practitioners as appropriate.

 

Continuing further-education is important for me and my clients, to ensure I am able to continue to provide quality care for you as well as to ensure Barton Remedial maintains currency of best practices within our health care services.

 

Our clinic is a safe and hygienic environment using only quality assured products and industry standard hygiene practices. We maintain and keep accurate up-to-date client records in a secure and confidential manner in support of private health provider regulations and authorities.  And as part of maintaining registration, we abide by the Code of Professional Ethics of the Australian Natural Therapists Association including abiding by the constitution, policies and rules of the Australian Natural Therapists Association and Queensland State Government legal requirements to operate as a registered Remedial Massage Therapist.
